Institutional Partnership

In 2019, we entered into a unique Memorandum of Understanding with the World Maritime University to cooperate in the field of marine insurance.

Under the MoU, both sides recognize their mutual interest in the field of maritime and oceans, and the development and protection of the marine environment. A marine insurance postgraduate diploma, professional development courses and marine insurance related events are among the aspects of cooperation between WMU and Hellenic Hull.

MoU with the University of Piraeus

Hellenic Hull has become the first marine insurance company to partner with Greece’s largest maritime university, marking a significant step in enhancing the leading maritime center. Hellenic Hull is launching an internship program to boost specialization in marine insurance and participating in research programs focused on shipping innovation. The company is committed to investing in education via continuous training programs offered by the University of Piraeus. Additionally, Hellenic Hull is introducing excellence awards for top-performing students. An agreement has also been made to organize simulation models of the International Union of Marine Insurance committee operations, providing students with real-time experience on key issues in the marine insurance market.

MoU with the University of Aegean

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the collaboration between the University of Aegean and Hellenic Hull encompasses a wide range of activities. Key initiatives include joint awareness programs promoting the sustainable blue economy, collaborative research projects with Hellenic Hull as a key partner, and specialized presentations and knowledge transfer sessions on marine insurance led by Hellenic Hull. Additionally, the partnership will focus on fostering startup entrepreneurship and developing incubator projects, supporting innovation and growth in the maritime industry.
