American Steamship Owners Marine Insurance Company (Europe) Ltd is a joint venture between Hellenic Hull Management, a Hellenic Cypriot maritime underwriter with more than 27 years of experience, and the century–old American P&I Club. The company is owned and financially backed by the American P&I Club and managed by Hellenic Hull Management.
We are delighted to announce that American Hellenic Hull Insurance Company Ltd has changed its name to American Steamship Owners Marine Insurance Company (Europe), Ltd – or the American Club (Europe) for short. At the same time the company has expanded its license to include P&I and related business for EU/EEA operators qualifying for such coverage. We are able to provide P&I and related cover with effect from February 20, 2022.
As an established marine hull underwriter, American Hellenic Hull will continue to cover hull & machinery risks for all types of vessels, offering high quality services to its clients as a trade name of American Steamship Owners Marine Insurance Company (Europe), Ltd.
