The eagle has landed

We cannot expect Halcyon days unless we know how to weather the storms. And we possess the knowledge through our love and faith towards Greek Shipping. The revolutionary vision of Hellenic Hull Mutual Association was conceived in order to offer reliable insurance solutions to Greek and Cypriot Ship-owners, bringing together a greater idea of co-operation and mutuality. Overcoming fierce competition, Hellenic was stabilized rapidly, as it filled a market gap for this particular size and age of vessels. My experience derives from the sea, and I am well aware that the sea can never die. This company stood as a ship going through rough seas. It was a duty for me not only to take that ship out safe, but to make it strong enough to travel the ocean, knowing how the crew was capable of greater journeys. The storms we had to overcome reflected a stimulus for us; we had to revaluate and reshape our strategy on prevention against any kind of risk. Looking towards the future, we proceeded to the strategic alliance with the American Club, leading to the foundation of the American Hellenic Hull Insurance Company. Nowadays, the Hellenic Hull, having a strong financial base, runs the first marine insurance company in Greece and Cyprus in compliance with all Solvency II requirements. Prides itself as it features one of the most experienced Hull & Machinery Underwriting teams, offering bespoke services. Hellenic Hull is not a start-up. It in fact reflects the evolution of a local underwriter to a global insurer. Thereafter, our target is to provide premium service to all our clients and assure «secure and stable seas wherever you go» by becoming your global local manager.
